Lori

I am setting up the blog for Lori. She will be posting after this. I would like to begin the blogging by thanking Lori for leading yet another stellar bible study. She has a gift for sharing God's word while applying it in real life. We have a blessing in Lori at King of Kings. Thank you, Lori.

    Thanks Rebecca! So, this blogging thing is new to me. Just catching up a bit into the current century...

    Ok, everybody. I'd love to know how 7 is going for you this week. Have you spent any more time thinking about the fact that if your household makes $30,000 a year you are in the top 4 percent of wealth in the world. $50,000. Top 1 percent! Mind blowing, right?

    I am excited to see what the Lord does through this study. I believe it is His will that are lives are open and free for His movement. He will reward our desire with results as we come to Him admitting our weakness and dependence knowing we cannot do it without Him. Jesus tells us this in John 15:5,

    I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (ESV)

    I like the way the Amplified Bible says it,

    I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. (AMP)

    Come on! Jump in with both feet. The Lord has amazing things in store for you. Promise!

    I like your affirmation about our bond with God BEFORE Wednesday. That comforted me. When I am doing without, it is good to hear those peaceful words. Thanks, Lori.
